Chastain-Skillman employees channeled their inner Jimmy Buffett to create the float, “A Florida Christmas” for their second appearance in the Lakeland Christmas Parade on Thursday, December 3rd.  The float depicted a beach scene complete with beach chairs, palm trees, sand, a surfing penguin and a “beach snowman.”  The employees on the float wore Hawaiian shirts, while dancing to Caribbean Christmas music.

“As a Lakeland based engineering firm, it is very important to us to take part in the community where we live and work,” remarked Jay Chastain, President of Chastain-Skillman, Inc. “The Lakeland Christmas Parade is great Lakeland tradition that is fun for us and our employees.”

The Lakeland Christmas Parade is presented by the Junior League of Greater Lakeland and took place on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.
