The Highlands News-Sun recently published an article highlighting the construction of the new Sebring roundabout. The roundabout is part of the larger Sebring Parkway project, which was designed by Chastain-Skillman. The Sebring Parkway connects the City of Sebring to the City of Avon Park.
Chastain-Skillman was contracted by Highlands County to complete the design for Phase I, II, and III of Sebring Parkway. In August of 2019, the connection on the north end from the Sebring Parkway to the Memorial Drive Roundabout was made and is currently open to the public. Construction of the Sebring Roundabout on the south end of the project is now under construction and should be completed within approximately three months. The completed Sebring Parkway will be opened later this year.
