Chastain-Skillman (CS) attended the City of Lake Wales’ (City) Park Avenue and Market Plaza Groundbreaking Ceremony last week, alongside City staff and members of Catalyst Design Group, PC.
The Park Avenue and Market Plaza redesign project is “geared to become a desirable street to explore a variety of eateries and shops.” (source: lakewalesfl.gov).
CS is providing topographic survey, civil engineering design, permitting, and limited construction observation services for Park Avenue and Market Plaza. This project is part of the Lake Wales Connected – Downtown Revitalization Plan that the City has adopted to transform the downtown area — once complete, it will bring to life the Lake Wales Connected plan inspired by the Olmsted/Phillips vision of a “City in a Garden.”
We are excited to watch this project and vision come to life, and eager to share the finished project with Lake Wales residents and visitors!
