The Park Avenue Connector Trail is part of the Lake Wales Connected – Downtown Revitalization Plan that the City of Lake Wales (City) has adopted to transform the downtown area. Chastain-Skillman (CS) is providing surveying and civil engineering services for the 2,135-foot Park Avenue Connector Trail. This trail will convert a one-way street to a trail and bicycle path that also maintains traffic on one side of the street. The trail will connect Park Avenue to the Lake Wailes trail system. A portion of this project will be funded by grant dollars.

Chastain-Skillman is providing surveying and civil engineering services for a 2,135-foot trail that will connect Park Avenue with the Lake Wailes Trail System.

CS is providing topographic survey, civil engineering design, and permitting services for this project in addition to coordinating with geotechnical (Madrid Engineering Group), electrical (CivilSurv), and landscape architecture consultants (S&ME).

CS is also under contract to provide civil engineering design for the Park Avenue Streetscape project, the 1st Street Streetscape project, and the NW Neighborhood Pedestrian Implementation Plan. The trail system design will reflect the Lake Wales Connected concept, which was adopted by the City.
