We provided civil engineering plans to repair flood damage at Colt Creek State Park in Lakeland, FL.

Chastain-Skillman (CS) was selected by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FFWCC) in 2017 for a continuing consulting contract for engineering services in Central Florida.

In August 2018, the FFWCC asked Chastain-Skillman to prepare civil engineering plans to repair flood damage to the gravel road surface over the Little Gator Creek water control structure at Colt Creek State Park in Lakeland, Florida.

CS provided civil engineering plans to repair flood damage to the gravel road surface over the Little Gator Creek water control structure. This damage was received as a result of floodwaters overtopping the structure during hurricane Irma. CS provided construction plans for repair of an area of gravel roadway approximately 52 ft. x 20 ft., replacement of one sand-cement bag in the headwall, and the addition of ditch lining rubble at the four corners of the structure, and debris removal.
