The Orlando CS Survey Team provided a limited boundary and topographic survey for design purposes for the proposed 90,000 square foot University of Central Florida College of Nursing teaching facility in Lake Nona. As part of this effort, CS Survey staff conducted office research, field coordination, field data collection, office processing and map production. Additionally, our staff conducted quality control measures as deemed necessary to produce the survey and provide survey services in accordance with the rules and standards of practice adopted by the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Deliverables provided were an electronic copy of the survey digitally signed and sealed by a Florida Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper along with providing a Civil 3d CAD file for design team use.
UCF’s College of Nursing is expected to relocate to the new building at Lake Nona for the 2025-2026 academic year. The new facility will provide 90,000-SF of teaching area, which is double the size of their current building. The completion of this facility will enable UCF to admit more students into their BSN programs, addressing the current nursing shortage in the State of Florida.
