Chastain-Skillman, Inc. (CSI) contracted with Marcobay Construction to provide survey construction staking for a new Polk County Sherriff’s Office training facility, including a new defensive driving course. CSI coordinated with several onsite contractors to complete the project. This project was unique in nature as CSI had to adhere to very stringent accuracy tolerances for the road and course staking. The road and course was designed for adverse driving conditions, providing ongoing training for emergency mode driving techniques. The project duration was approximately seven months, and finished ahead of schedule and under budget.
