Chastain-Skillman (CS) provided civil engineering services for Florida Polytechnic University’s Admissions Center in Lakeland, Florida.
The Admission’s Center was Florida Polytechnic University’s first building open to the public. This 5,600 square foot center is the entrance to the University and hosts unique features such as a video wall and roll-up insulated glass doors.
Chastain-Skillman (CS) provided the civil engineering services for the admissions center, including site grading and drainage, utility design, construction observation of the site work, and record drawing preparation. Permitting for the project included Florida Polytechnic University site plan review, Florida State Fire Marshal, and the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
The Admissions Center welcomed its inaugural class in August 2014.
