Chastain Skillman, Inc. teamed with long time client JVS Construction to provide survey construction staking for the construction of a new earthen dam for a confidential mining client located in Southwest Hillsborough County. Construction commenced in October of 2011 with a one year construction schedule. The survey field crew assigned to the project was on site five days a week providing staking services to facilitate the construction. Along with construction staking, the field crew also gathered as built data monthly, in order to monitor monthly volumes of fill placed on the project. The project was completed on time and under budget.
