Members of the CS team joined the Florida Surveyin

Members of the CS team joined the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society (FSMS) Ridge Chapter Axe Throwing Fundraiser at @axcaliber to help raise funds for the FSMS Political Action Committee (FSMPAC) last week.

The FSMPAC is a non-profit organization supporting the Surveying Profession in legislative and political activities.

Our Assistant Director of Survey in Lakeland, Jeff Ammermann, came in 3rd place for their competition. Thank you to our team members for joining in on the fun and to FSMS Ridge Chapter for coordinating the event!

Our team dropped by the Senior Internship Expo at

Our team dropped by the Senior Internship Expo at McKeel Academy of Technology yesterday to support our summer marketing intern, Mallory!

Mallory spent the summer at Chastain-Skillman (CS) as a part of our marketing department learning about the firm and the services we offer to the communities we serve.

Throughout her internship she worked alongside one of our Marketing Coordinators, Pam Rodriguez, and learned about social media marketing, the firm's proposal process, and business development initiatives designed to connect our firm with community stakeholders and current and future partners. Mallory also researched and presented a campaign she created centered around community outreach opportunities for the firm.

We'd like to thank Mallory Kallan for joining our team this summer as well as Katelyn Graydon and McKeel Academy for providing this partnership opportunity for companies in the Lakeland community!

Today the CS team said farewell to one of our Mark

Today the CS team said farewell to one of our Marketing Interns, Marian Lobaton. Marian worked closely with our marketing department in our business development processes which included assisting with proposal preparation, creating deliverables for BD efforts, and establishing tracking and organization processes for our content library.

“During my summer internship with Chastain-Skillman (CS), I gained experience working on internal marketing, focusing on our project proposals and team resumes to help show potential clients what CS has to offer. I had the opportunity to learn about project proposals and watch the process internally, from finding a project to pursue all the way to finally sending it to the potential client. This internship has allowed me to gain confidence in my abilities in terms of digital design and my marketing skills as well. I know the experience and the skills I've learned over the past few months will be carried with me into my post-graduate endeavors and any future jobs I pursue.”

Marian will complete her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida this fall, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and a minor in Digital Media.
